  • Working under supervision you will work towards being responsible for a wide and varied range of role related tasks
  • Working closely with experienced and qualified staff you will develop your knowledge of Electrical repairs, involving wiring a range of panels and cabinets, read and interpret schematics / drawings, control panel layout and fitting, testing, fault find and repairs
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are maintained and that you show due diligence at all times

You will work towards achieving one of the following qualifications:

  • Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) Awarding organisation EAL; GLH 750
  • Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Technical Knowledge) Awarding organisation Pearson; GLH 720
  • Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) Awarding organisation City & Guilds; GLH 720

You will attend NWTC Training Centre on day release, for training and Further Education. The remainder of your time will be spent with your employer training whilst employed.

NWTC will monitor your Apprenticeship on a regular basis to ensure you achieve the standards required including core skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours in preparation for End point assessment and where required Functional Skills

At the end of the apprenticeship, candidates will be suitably trained and continue their employment dependent on the business needs at the time
