  • Working closely with experienced and qualified staff you will develop your knowledge of a range of Electrical switchgears, read and interpret schematics/drawings, control panel layout and fitting, wiring cabinets, including switchgear electrical repairs
  • Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are maintained.
  • Always show due diligence, comply with all company policies and procedures e.g., health and safety, training & development, quality, disciplinary & grievance, and sickness & absence etc.
  • You will work towards achieving a Level 3 advanced Engineering Fitter apprenticeship, attending NWTC Training Centre on day release, for training and Further Education
  • The remainder of your time will be spent with your employer training whilst employed. NWTC will monitor your Apprenticeship on a regular basis to ensure you achieve the standards required including core skills, knowledge and occupational behaviours in preparation for End point assessment and where required Functional Skills
  • At the end of the apprenticeship, candidates will be suitably trained and continue their employment dependent on the business needs at the time
  • Further in-house and external training and development available
  • Potential L4 / HNC for the right candidate at the right time
