You will be working closely with flavourists seeing first hand the processes involved in developing flavourings across all sectors of food & beverage.   • Compounding Formulations for Flavourists
  • Locate and collect samples off-shelf for customers selected by Flavourists
  • Liaise with QC for testing of flavours
  • Use of spray dry machine for spray dry formulations
  • Update and maintain lab samples index
  • Use of internal systems for general data and labelling requirements
  • Maintaining stock levels essential to carrying out everyday duties
  • Organise samples by customer project ready for sending
  • Keeping logs of samples sent to customers
  • Packaging of samples to send to customers via the correct delivery service

Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship Standard qualification, including:

  • Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
  • End-Point Assessment

Delivery of training to be confirmed.

Opportunity to see and work in other areas of the business. Natural progression to trainee flavourist for the right candidate with a path to becoming a full time flavourist.
