Hattons Travel in Haydock have a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated person to join their company. Working in their commercial workshop on their buses and coaches, keeping them in safe and good condition.
Duties will include;
• Keeping the workshop clean & tidy
• Assisting other vehicle and ground side equipment technicians with their work whilst receiving on the job training
• Safe working procedures in the workshop

Advanced
The successful applicant will be expected to learn about the following:
• Keeping the workshop clean & tidy
• How to use tools & equipment used in vehicle maintenance & repair
• Safe working procedures in the workshop
• Assisting other vehicle and ground side equipment technicians with their work whilst receiving on the job training
• How to service and inspect a vehicle
• How to safely remove and replace engine, chassis, electrical and transmission components
• How to carry out simple and complex fault diagnosis and repairs on engine, chassis, transmission and electrical systems.

Founded in 1987, we expanded from small beginnings with just one dual purpose vehicle to our present fleet of 20 service buses and 8 touring coaches. We pride ourselves on providing a quality service to our passengers, be it on a 5 minute bus journey into St Helen's or a 5-day tour to Cornwall. We have invested a great deal recently to update our service fleet and our touring coaches. We also moved to larger premises in Haydock to help accommodate our expanding fleet and touring business.
