This role will be based in the school:

– Supporting pupils with a range of needs in small groups
or on a 1:1 basis.

– Promoting health and wellbeing across the school 

– Supporting the delivery of Physical Education lessons, sensory circuits and break/lunch time activities.

Applicants will follow a L3 Teaching Assistant training pathway specialising in PE, sport and physical activity.

Training will be a mix of blended learning; both face to face & virtual. Face to face will be held centrally in Liverpool.

 

This role would be ideal for someone who either wanted to move into sports coaching/ development with children and young people or who wants to work in education, with SEND young people.

It will provide a basis for teaching assistant roles and as a route towards teacher training or into other physical activity &/or sport careers.
