The Learning &Development team supports Alfred H Knight and its people to achieve our business aims by having the right people with the right skills. Our remit covers all aspects of the full development cycle, including assessment of learning needs and the design, delivery and evaluation of training. As an Apprentice Digital learning designer, you will be a key part of our dynamic Learning & Development team, providing true generalist support to your own team as well as our managers and employees.

The purpose of the role is to ensure that all aspects of the learning & development cycle are carried out in an effective and efficient manner, through a combination of their own creative execution of activities and support to stakeholders.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and producing creative projects from beginning to end, from initial brief and script development to final delivery.
  • Managing multiple content projects
  • Producing and editing video content
  • Understanding AHK Brand, using and referring to the brand guidelines when creating content; working in accordance with “house style”
  • Working closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) and academic colleagues, you will be responsible for designing and creating interactive and engaging online video learning which will be accessed by a wide range of team members around the world.
  • This is a creative and varied role where you will be encouraged to contribute recommendations for content development and improvements to all areas of learning technology.
  • Supporting targets and deadlines of creating content.
  • Supporting the creation of an open communication culture.
    Keeping accurate, up-to-date records.
  • Delivering reports on progress of multiple projects.
  • Driving own Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in line with requirements of current / future roles.
  • Keeping abreast of changing practices within the industry, along with evolving business requirements
