- Prepare resin mixes, screeds, mortars, and coating samples
- Carry out practical laboratory tests (e.g. strength, cure, viscosity, adhesion)
- Assist with sample preparation, casting, curing, and testing
- Maintain lab equipment, tools, and work areas
- Record results accurately and follow test methods and SOPs
- Support quality control checks on raw materials and finished products
- Follow health & safety procedures in an industrial lab environment
Level 3 Laboratory Technician Apprenticeship Standard qualification, including:
- Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours
- End-Point Assessment
- Possibility of a full-time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
