Summary
You will be involved in all elements of the marketing mix from social media to content creation. You will work closely with the marketing team, helping execute marketing plans to a high standard, develop ideas for campaigns, write exciting copy for our various target audiences, & bring our brands to life through telling the positive impact we have.

Work
Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you’ll do at work
No two days will be the same, so expect a role where you will be actively encouraged to think outside of the box and to manage your time and resources effectively in order to get the job done. You will sit in meetings and be expected to contribute to agenda items, lead on the delivery of some marketing tactics and help us continually evaluate and innovate our activities in order to support our objectives.
As a Group of businesses, we are on an exciting growth journey and this role will play a part in the success of that. As such, we need someone with bags of enthusiasm and a hunger to roll up your sleeves and get stuck into tasks set. This will be across multiple markets and multiple audiences.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Use different types of content to bring the stories of our impact to life. This will include interviewing learners, briefing videographers and writing up the likes of case studies
- Visiting some of our training locations to capture our training delivery in motion for use on social media
- Write copy for various audiences and markets. This could be for website, brochures, blogs or email
- Management of some social media channels
- Support with event planning and management
- Update websites using the CMS, Wordpress
- Build, test, send and evaluate email marketing campaigns
- Videography/photography

Course contents
- Develop or interpret briefs for external or internal stakeholders and measure delivery in-line with the specification and agreed timelines
- Plan and coordinate a marketing activity using marketing tactics to acquire and retain one or more customer segments using available resources.
- Contribute to the generation of innovative and creative approaches across video, images, and other formats, both online and offline, to support campaign development.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation to support the project.
- Use copywriting techniques to write persuasive text/copy to meet a communications objective ensuring it is in-line with organisational brand guidelines.
- Build and implement multi-channel campaigns across a variety of platforms, either offline or digital media.
- Proofread marketing copy ensuring it is accurate, persuasive and is on brand.
- Use software to design and create marketing assets to meet the technical specification.
- Contribute to the research of external suppliers to support recommendations and procurement of marketing goods and services.
- Organise offline and digital assets ensuring they are co-ordinated and legally compliant.
- Use a website content management system to publish text, images, and video/animated content.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets to support marketing activities such as project/budget planning and organisation of marketing assets.
- Use technology and software packages to support day to day activities, e.g., stakeholder communications, development of briefs, data analysis, report writing, presentations and project management.
- Identify and use data and technologies to achieve marketing objectives.
- Monitor and amend campaigns to meet budget requirements including time and monetary costs.
- Review campaigns regularly to ensure effectiveness, to optimise the results.
- Measure and evaluate campaign delivery to identify areas for improvement.
- Use data analysis tools to record, interpret and analyse customer or campaign data.

Essential qualifications
GCSE in:

Other requirements
This position is home based with regular travel across the Liverpool City Region. Therefore ideally you need to be able to drive or if not, be happy using public transport to visit training locations and our head office. Some key skills and prior knowledge should include; · Experience of working with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn for business purposes · Some experience of capturing interesting and good quality rich content using a phone camera, ideally for the purposes of social media · Experience of using the likes of Adobe Creative Cloud or Canva · A basic understanding of branding · Prior knowledge of using a project management tool such as Asana or Monday.com
