Apprenticeship summary
You will support the Services Engineering business responsible for vehicles already in passenger service. You will learn about various train systems working alongside experienced engineers, taking ownership of work packages to deliver a technical solution with all supporting documentation.

- Supporting work on in Service fleets owning work packages from the start
- Acting as an interface with the Widnes workshops between the Production teams and Engineering
- Providing timely progress updates to keep customers up to date on their projects
- Visit various depots in the UK to support fleet projects
- Visiting suppliers to support projects
Electro-Mechanical Engineer Level 6 Apprenticeship Standard:
- You will attend Birmingham City University on block release to complete the academic side of the course whilst getting hands on experience and learning from the company
- Subject to business need we would expect to put you into your first role on successful completion of your apprenticeship
