  • Supporting the PM, this role will ultimately be the focal point for all Payroll related queries so involves responding to all telephone, e-mail and letter enquires received in a timely and accurate manner to ensure a good level of service is given to employees, managers and third parties to ensure customer satisfaction is maintained.
  • Review and update tax code changes via HMRC’s Electronic Data Interface (EDI) to ensure current tax codes are applied correctly.
  • Assist with routine and non-routine administrative tasks as required in support of the HR function.
  • Assist the PM in processing payroll payments for starters, leavers and changes to ensure they are accurate.
  • Support the PM in ensuring monthly payslips and P45’s are uploaded into the HRIS within agreed timescales.
  • Input Maternity/Paternity/Adoption leave to enable the HR/Payroll system to calculate any payments due, following instruction from the HR team.
  • At all times, adopt a safe behaviour by exercising due regard or the health and safety of yourself, colleagues and clients, in line with the Company’s policies and procedures.

The successful apprentice will work towards a Level 3 Payroll Administration standard. Day to day training will be conducted by the employer. Training schedule has yet to be agreed. Details will be made available at a later date.
