Street League are excited to announce the launch of a new Women’s Empowerment Programme, beginning on the 23rd of September. This initiative is specifically designed for young women aged 18-30 who are currently unemployed or out of education.

What makes the programme truly special?

Not only will participants receive comprehensive employability support and guidance, but Street League have also formed a unique partnership with Premier Inn, The Holiday Inn, Burger King, DHL, Big Yellow, Compass apprenticeships and Whitbread (a leading hospitality company). This partnership allows the opportunity for fast-track applications for participants, offering them an exclusive pathway into careers within different job sectors.

In addition, Street League are pleased to offer fully funded travel for all young women enrolled in the programme, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate regardless of their location.

Programme details:

  • A 10-week empowerment programme to improve confidence and gain the skills needed to succeed.
  • Sessions on health and wellbeing, rights awareness, digital and financial literacy, and employability.
  • External facilitators will deliver workshops on self-defence, consent, sexual health, menstruation.
