Daily duties may include but are not limited to:

Learning the fundamentals of HV technologies – HV chassis, engine, fuels, transmissions, hydraulic & air braking, electrical systems, and testing
Learning how to service, maintain and repair a range of different heavy commercial vehicles
An interest in mechanical issues
Ability to use hand tools * Ability to learn how to work on a computer to diagnose faults
Willingness’ to understand customers’ needs
Ability to work in a team

* Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance Technician Level 3 * Functional Skills in English and maths (if not already achieved) * Preparation and support to sit End Point Assessment Block release training at our Wythenshawe Campus – M22 9UH

Upon completion of the apprenticeship, there will be the opportunity to secure permanent employment.
