Bara Management Ltd has partnered with Merseyside YouthAssociation (MYA) and the DWP-funded Employability Hub to offer extra support for 18–24-year- olds who want to build a rewarding career in the construction sector.
The MYA Employability Hub has a proven track record of helping young people become job ready, combining personal and social development with tailored training and education to give them the best start in their careers.
Join an innovative, hands-on workshops where you’ll get:
- Practical skills and real-world experience
- Industry knowledge from experts
- A clear pathway into this ever-growing sector
workshops will include
- Regular sessions monthly – every 12 weeks Professional talks and networking with companies, employers and SME’s
- Insight into what SME’s needs and their frameworks
- Connecting with other young people within the construction industry sector.
- Guidance and help in other construction sectors e.g. equipment
No previous experience needed — just bring your enthusiasm!
The Goal
Empowering young people to achieve their goals, we take a person-centred approach that focuses on fostering stability, routine, andstructure, while building confidence and resilience. Our aim is to ensure young people are fully equipped to meet the demands of the fast-paced and ever- growing construction industry.
The Result
Through our unique person-centred approach to upskilling, we place strong emphasis on personal and social development. We have gained invaluable experience in removing barriers to employment and preparing young people for the labour market.Our focus includes developing routine, structure, punctuality, timekeeping, and social/communication skills, helping to increaseyouth employment and long-term sustainability.
Workshops start from Friday 12 September at 12.00pm and will take place every other Friday.
