Apprenticeship summary
Working in a fast pace / customer facing environment, meeting and greeting customers and booking their required activities, answering queries on the phone, taking food orders and serving the food to customers, and some kitchen food prep duties if required.

You will make our customers feel valued by creating a fun environment for them to enjoy. It’s up to us to make sure our customers leave feeling happy, having had a really positive experience. So long as you can provide a warm, helpful manner to everyone you meet, we can teach you the ins and outs of working as part of our busy team.
Your roles and responsibilities will include;
Front of house:
- Giving a warm welcome to our customers and make them feel at home
- Serve customers efficiently at the till – understanding their needs
- Serve amazing food and drinks to high standards and make sure our customers have everything they need
- Maintain, hand over and close down a clean, safe, and fully operational counter area
- Follow all fire safety, health and safety, food hygiene and cafe security measures
Back of house:
- Assist kitchen staff to prepare and assemble food where necessary
- Stock taking and putting away deliveries, reporting low stock levels to management
In-house training plus the candidate will follow a Level 2 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 2 Food and Beverage Team Member. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West.
If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subject.
Permanent employment or progression to a higher apprenticeship if successfully completed.

Activity for All (formerly JM Sports Coaching) is a Community Interest Company established in 2004 with one sole objective – to increase participation in physical activity for ALL ages. Our team of teachers, coaches, instructors, leaders and other stakeholders strive to engage with all community groups and smash any barriers that prevent participation so everyone can enjoy the lifelong health benefits of regular exercise. We currently work with over 350 schools across North West England and North Wales, over 200 businesses, numerous NHS trusts, sports clubs, colleges and community groups. We also provide a range of activities from our Wirral and Liverpool based sports centres and have our own full-time study programme for 16-19 year olds. Activity for All facilitate activity for over 15,000 children and adults each week Our mission is to improve the lives of thousands, then millions through our team’s relentless drive to get people moving more. Exercise can come in so many forms and it is our passion to find innovative ways of boosting activity levels so participants can enjoy the immediate health benefits – whatever their age and ability. So whether we’re leading an after-school football club in a local school, delivering our 120ft inflatable assault course event, engaging large corporations with team building activities, coordinating the daily mile at the local college, organising walking football for over 65s or supervising toddler time at our soft play area – our team are happy! We strive to continue to find innovative ways to increase participation in physical activity – mainstream sports are for some but not for everyone, so we’re here to bring a wider range of activities than anyone else!
