Are you looking to start your career in childcare? Cottage Day nursery are looking for a Level 2 Apprentice to join their team, you will be required to work shifts between 30- 40 hours per week across 4- 5 days. You will provide all aspects of care to children and learn with an award winning training provider.

Intermediate
As an apprentice your duties will be:
- To provide adult interaction with children in the nursery
- To be aware of the nurseries confidentiality policy
- To support all staff and engage in a good staff team
- Under supervision, to provide all aspects of care for children including washing, changing and feeding
- To assist with meeting the personal and emotional needs of individual children
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. They will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
- Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
- Functional skills in maths and English if required
- This will be delivered by your dedicated training provider, Realise
- Full employment on completion of the apprenticeship or the opportunity to progress to Level 3

The Cottage day nursery is family run nursery in Woolton, we have very dedicated staff who have worked with us for a long time, we offer care for children aged 0-4. We are open 52 weeks of the year 07.30 until 17.30 hours.
