I am looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic childcare assistant/practitioner to join my friendly, home-based setting. The ideal candidate will support the Childminder and work alongside another practitioner/assistant in providing a safe, stimulating safe and nurturing environment for children aged 9 months to 4 years.

- Assisting with daily routines including meals, play, naps, and outdoor activities and outings
- Helping to plan and deliver fun, educational activities
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment
- Supporting children’s learning and development in line with EYFS
- Communicating positively with children, the Childminder and assistant
- The successful applicant will be expected to study for a Level 2/3 Early years educator qualification through St Helen’s college
- This involves meeting with a personal tutor (but not attending classes) who will explain & set assignments for completion
- Full time permanent employment with the opportunity to progress to Early years educator Level 3 qualification
