This is a fully funded course for adults 16-24 living in the Liverpool City Region, not in education, employment of training.
Duration:
- 10 week employability course for people who are currently out of work and looking to gain skills to gain employment.
Content includes:
- Health and Safety in the Workplace,
- An understanding of sustainability in a workplace and in your community,
- An introduction to Retrofit Advice,
- An overview of the construction industry – including manual handling, risk assessments and accident management,
- CV writing, interview techniques, self-employment guidance and careers support.
Qualification:
- Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Environmental Sustainability
- Full Green CSCS card
- Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety (in a Construction Environment
