Y12 Nuffield Research and Experience Placements -Information Session

The Nuffield Research and Experience Placement Programme is coordinated nationally by STEM Learning and managed in the Northwest by All About STEM. It is a funded scheme, which gives Y12 students the chance to take part in a real-life research or industry placement during the summer holiday between Y12 and Y13.

A 1-2 week placement with a host organisation, university or company, will provide an insight into the work that goes on in academic or industry settings and help you to explore what you might like to study at university or do as a career.

The programme is open to Y12 students from state-funded schools or colleges, who meet the eligibility criteria. There is no charge to take part and most successful applicants are also eligible for a bursary payment.

The deadline for applications in the North West is 29th February 2024.
