If you’re looking to get into a healthcare or social care job, The Prince’s Trust can help.

Since 2019, they’ve supported and recruited thousands of 16 to 30-year-olds into the health and social care sector. They’ve built partnerships with hundreds of hospitals, care homes, and health organisations in the UK who specifically hire new healthcare workers such as care assistants, admin assistants, emergency call handlers, and more.

“The course has been a life changer for me. It has led me to amazing places and to meet and work with amazing people.”

Prince’s Trust health and social care courses will provide the skills, confidence, and CV to get a job in the NHS or social care sector. With so many jobs available, they are on a mission to support every young person looking for a job that makes a difference. The commitment to support includes:

  • One-hour overviews of the health and social care sector
  • 2–to-5-day courses to help with job applications
  • Arranging of work placements
  • Providing one-to-one mentoring
  • Where possible, providing financial support to get started
  • Access to MyndUp, a mental wellbeing platform
  • Courses are run in-person or online.

“I was interested in working in the sector as a teenager but didn’t receive the grades I needed to study medicine. Taking part in the course piqued that interest for me again and was the perfect way for me to begin my career in healthcare.”
