The LCR Race Equality Hub are excited to announce a series of Black History Month Markets, taking place every week in October from the 9th to the 30th.
These markets, held in the ground floor of the Mann Island office building, are a great opportunity for stall holders to showcase their products, boost sales, and expand their networks. All stalls are free of charge. Each market will focus on a different theme, offering a unique experience for both stall holders and visitors:
- 11am-1pm October 9th: Black Literature
- 11am-1pm October 16th: Black Food and Culture
- 11am-1pm October 23rd: Makers Market
- 11am-1pm October 30th: Wellbeing Market
We are looking for stall holders with products relevant to these themes. Whether you sell books, crafts, food, or wellbeing products, this is a chance to reach a diverse audience including local authority staff and the general public.
Details for Stall Holders:
- There will be 10 stalls available each week.
- Setup from 10am-11am – close from 1pm -1.30pm
- Markets run 11am -1pm
- We will provide tables, tablecloths, and a light lunch.
- A team member will be available 1 hour before setup to assist with unloading your items.

We look forward to celebrating Black History Month with you and providing a platform for local businesses to thrive.
