What happens on this Get Ready course

1. First, you can join a taster day to get an idea of what you’ll get up to on the programme. You can meet our staff and ask us questions to decide if it’s right for you.
2. On the course, industry experts will introduce you to exciting career pathways, including new jobs you may never have heard of and jobs you may have considered but didn’t know enough about. You’ll develop relevant skills through practical activities and fun group challenges.
3. At the end of the course, you’ll be invited to attend an Opportunities Day. At this event, you’ll receive dedicated support to move onto your next steps. You’ll find out about relevant opportunities coming up in your area and make connections with local employers, colleges and training providers who are looking for motivated individuals.
4. After the course, you’ll have the chance to be matched with a mentor who will work with you for up to 6 months to help you achieve your goals.
