Getting started in life can come with its challenges. Whatever challenges you’re facing, if you’re aged 11 to 30, The King’s Trust is there for you.
You’ve got what it takes to gain the confidence and skills to get a job. But sometimes it takes that first step, and they’re on hand to help.
A million young people have started something with The King’s Trust – becoming health workers, sports coaches, youth workers, fashion designers, builders and business owners. Could you be next?
Courses are FREE and give people the tools to build their confidence, find a job or start their own business. The following courses are available now:
Enterprise
Looking for support to launch your business? The free Enterprise programme is here to help you turn that dream into a reality.
With expert-led workshops, one-to-one support, and opportunities to apply for funding, the King’s Trust provide the tools you need to create a strong business plan and start a successful business.

Free Funding to Train or Start Work
The King’s Trust’s Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment to help young people achieve their goals. They offer grants of up to £500 to support young people into a positive outcome.

Get into TK Maxx
Get into programmes are developed for young people aged 16-30, who are work-ready but lacking confidence or experience. They will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience whilst enhancing employability skills and confidence to enable them to move into a sustainable job in a specific sector of work.

Team
Join Team, King’s Trust’s 12-week personal development programme, for the chance to gain new skills, earn a qualification and meet like-minded people. Take on your own group community project, take part in action-packed residential trip, get two weeks work experience and spend time developing your CV and interview skills.

King’s Trust’s Get Hired events are like speed dating for jobs. Meet social care employers, access on the spot screening interviews and gain vital employment advice!

On the King’s Trust’s Explore programme, young people will take part in fun, challenging activities to help grow their confidence while taking steps to achieve their goals. They will gain key skills to support them in life and work, including teamwork, leadership and communication. They will be provided with regular one-to-one support to help them achieve positive outcomes.
