The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Race Equality Hub is partnering with MSB Solicitors to host an event for 14-16 year olds from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic communities from across the city region.

The event will take place on 30th October as part of Black History Month activities.

Held in the Authority Chamber at the Combined Authorities’ offices at Mann Island, L3 1BP from 4.00pm-6.00pm, this is a fantastic opportunity for young people to engage directly with Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic lawyers about their career journeys.

The event will feature a panel discussion with professionals from MSB Solicitors and the wider industry, offering insights into pathways to a career in law and an interactive Q&A session. It’s designed to inspire young people by providing real-world examples of representation, success and the practical steps needed to enter the legal profession.

We would like to encourage schools and youth provision groups to promote this opportunity to 14-16 year olds from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic backgrounds who have an interest in pursuing a career in law. This event not only provides them with networking opportunities, but also gives them access to mentorship, advice, and a chance to ask questions about the legal field.

Spaces are limited, and high demand is expected, so please register interest early to avoid disappointment. Pizza, refreshments, and metro day bus passes will be provided for all attendees.
