A million young people have started something with The King’s Trust – becoming health workers, sports coaches, youth workers, fashion designers, builders and business owners. Could you be next?

Courses are FREE and give people the tools to build their confidence, find a job or start their own business. The following courses are available now:

Looking for support to launch your business? The free Enterprise programme is here to help you turn that dream into a reality.

With expert-led workshops, one-to-one support, and opportunities to apply for funding, the King’s Trust provide the tools you need to create a strong business plan and start a successful business.

  • Ages: 18-30

The King’s Trust’s Development Awards can cover the cost of course fees, tools or equipment to help young people achieve their goals. They offer grants of up to £500 to support young people into a positive outcome.

  • Ages: 16-30

Get into programmes are developed for young people aged 16-30, who are work-ready but lacking confidence or experience. They will have the opportunity to gain on-the-job experience whilst enhancing employability skills and confidence to enable them to move into a sustainable job in a specific sector of work.

  • Ages: 16- 30
  • Location:  Various M&S stores across Liverpool City Region
  • Taster Day: TBC
  • Programme start date: September 26

The Gel Nails & Nail Art course is designed for young people who are interested in developing professional beauty skills and exploring a potential career in the nail industry.

Over five days, you’ll work towards an accredited Gel Nails qualification while learning a range of practical techniques, including gel application, nail preparation, creative nail art designs, and professional client care.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to build on existing skills, this course provides a great opportunity to learn in a supportive and hands-on environment.

As an added bonus, all participants who successfully complete the course will receive a professional nail kit worth over £100 to help them continue practising and developing their skills.

Lunch is provided each day, and support with travel costs is available for those who need it.

  • Ages: 16- 25
  • Location: Birkenhead
  • Programme dates: 3 Aug- 7 Aug 26

Join an exciting 5-day media programme and explore the world of creative content production!

Throughout the week, you’ll get hands-on experience in a range of media skills, including podcasting, filming, script writing, content creation, and much more.

Whether you’re interested in being behind the camera, in front of the microphone, or developing your storytelling skills, this programme offers a fun and supportive environment to learn, create, and collaborate with others.

Lunch is provided each day, and support with travel costs is available for those who need it.

  • Ages: 16-25
  • Location: Liverpool City Centre
  • Programme dates: 7 Sept- 11 Sept 26
