The new Liverpool City Region Apprenticeship Ambassador Network was launched at an early morning event at Liverpool Hilton on 23rd January. The new network is made up of standout apprentices and their employers from across the area who will be championing apprenticeships and highlighting their benefits to new audiences across the region.

The aim of the launch event was to allow fellow advocates to get to know each other as the joint apprenticeship voice for the region.

The two hour event featured a welcome by Siobhan Saunders, chair of the LCR Apprenticeship Hub, and then saw the Apprenticeship Ambassador Network formally launched by Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram. Two high profile regional apprenticeship case studies were profiled before the event closed with Claire Blott of the Liverpool Combined Authority outlining the key apprenticeship priorities.
