At the event, you’ll have the chance to secure a place on a new Skills Bootcamp in Hospitality programme, an intensive 4-week training programme that will fast-track you into an exciting career at the Arena and Convention Centre, Liverpool.

Run in partnership with Sodexo Live! and The City of Liverpool College, the skills bootcamp is completely free of charge to adults aged 19 or older residing in the Liverpool City Region (Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens or Wirral) who meet eligibility criteria.* No prior qualifications are needed.

At the skills bootcamp you will gain:

• Essential skills in food safety in catering;
• Advanced skills in customer service across a range of functions, such as front-of-house, food and beverage operations and events management;
• Advanced understanding of the various functions across this dynamic and rewarding sector;
• Knowledge about Sodexo Live, your career pathway and becoming a member of their team;
• Knowledge of how to build environmental awareness and manage resources sustainably.

You have the choice of joining one of two skills bootcamp in hospitality programmes, as follows:

Group 1 – Mon 16th Sept – Thurs 10th Oct 2024
Group 2 – Mon 14th Oct – Thurs 14th Nov 2024 (half term break w/k of 28th Nov).
