If you’re looking to pursue an exciting career in Liverpool’s vibrant hospitality industry, come along to Opportunity Makers, a brand new recruitment event designed to get you into your dream role on the 20 August at the Liverpool Arena and Convention Centre.

At the event, you’ll have the chance to secure a place on a new Skills Bootcamp in Hospitality programme, an intensive 4-week training programme that will fast-track you into an exciting career at the Arena and Convention Centre, Liverpool.

You can also meet the team to find out more about the training and your future career!

Run in partnership with Sodexo Live! and The City of Liverpool College, the skills bootcamp is completely free of charge to adults aged 19 or older residing in the Liverpool City Region (Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens or Wirral) who meet eligibility criteria.* No prior qualifications are needed.

  • Essential skills in food safety in catering;
  • Advanced skills in customer service across a range of functions, such as front-of-house, food and beverage operations and events management;
  • Advanced understanding of the various functions across this dynamic and rewarding sector;
  • Knowledge about Sodexo Live, your career pathway and becoming a member of their team;
  • Knowledge of how to build environmental awareness and manage resources sustainably.
