Merseyside Police is one of the best performing forces in the country and it takes a huge number of people from all sorts of different backgrounds with a wide range of skills and experience, to achieve that.
It’s the people who make Merseyside Police the force it is. What makes Merseyside special?
Every day Merseyside Police look after 1.4 million people and police an area of 647 square kilometres, that’s equivalent to just under 121,000 football pitches. At Merseyside Police they understand and value that people from all different educational backgrounds, and with different learning styles, want to become police officers.
