Do you have ambitions to be a Registered Nursing Associate? 

Would you like the opportunity to discuss your aspirations and get advice on ensuring that you meet the criteria for this degree programme? 

Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust are delivering these workshops to help staff be better prepared for future progression opportunities.

Applicants will need evidence of the following to be eligible: 

  • Maths – GCSE 4 to 9 (A to C)/ level 2 functional skills / level 2 key skills or equivalent
  • English – GCSE 4 to 9 (A to C)/ level 2 functional skills / level 2 key skills or equivalent
  • 32 UCAS points – this can be A level/ level 3 NVQ /level 3 diploma if unsure contact Benjamin Forkin
  • 12 months experience in a care setting.

The PEF (Practise Development Education Facilitator) team hold an SNA workshop on the second Tuesday of each month at 10am via teams. The sessions will include a short presentation, Q&A session, and individual guidance opportunity. Attendees will be provided with an interactive worksheet which will prove invaluable when preparing for application and interview.
