Making it possible…

Over the last two-years, the Race Equality Hub has connected with businesses, business leaders and the stakeholders across Liverpool City Region.

Those connections have led to conversations about how we can invest in Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic businesses to enable growth, development and sustainability. This has all been underpinned by the findings highlighted by Kuumba Imani, Teach Consultancy and The Women’s Organisation, in the Nia Report (2021), and further built on by the Innervision Consultancy (2025) findings from our recent business growth programme.

Expressions of Interest are now open for businesses to submit.

Businesses will be matched to advisors to complete a diagnostic exercise. This diagnostic exercise will determine viability of growth and if this is a suitable programme.

Thank you all those who submitted their expressions of interest, the volume received positively exceeded our expectations.

The first 40 businesses** have now been allocated to business advisors to undergo diagnostics in the order in which expressions were received. We will continue to progress through the list until all programme funding has been committed.

Thank you for your patience. We will keep you informed along the way.

*Dates are confirmed as of November 2025 but may be subject to change.

**The expectation is that the next allocations will be processed from 10th December.
