Some Skills Bootcamps will require learners to have certain pre-requisites which training providers will detail. Individuals are only eligible to attend one Skills Bootcamp per funding period.

Construction – Telehandler | On Point Trac | This Skills Bootcamp is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to gain roles in construction, specifically plant machinery. Rail – Get into Rail | Redstone | This Skills Bootcamp is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to gain trackside roles in the rail industry. Life Science –Laboratory Skills & Biotechnology | Bio Grad | The Skills Bootcamp is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to gain laboratory technical roles. Training will involve learning to operate and understand the findings of equipment such as plate readers, PCR machines, imagers, heating blocks, western blotting electrophoresis and transfer tank light microscopes. Life Science –Mammalian Cell Culture | Bio Grad | The Skills Bootcamp is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to gain laboratory roles, specifically relating to Mammalian Cell Culture. Training will involve learning the fundamental concepts and techniques of mammalian cell culture to help you carry out core cell culture techniques properly and safely. Green – Renewables Heating | Hybrid Technical | The Skills Bootcamp is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to gain roles in the installation and maintenance of green heating systems. Training is aimed at domestic and commercial gas engineers or plumbers and will involve Water regulations, Energy Efficiency (Part L), Unvented Hot Water, Air Source Heat Pumps and Solar Thermal Hot Water. Green – Renewables Electrical | Hybrid Technical | The Skills Bootcamp is designed to give learners the skills and knowledge to gain roles in the installation and maintenance of green heating systems. Training is aimed at electrical engineers and will involve EV Charging Points, Solar Photovoltaic, 18th Edition Amendments and Fundamental Requirements of Electrical Energy Storage Systems (EESS).
