Apprenticeship summary
We are looking for a hardworking and a caring individual with an interest in Dentistry. The successful candidate will work towards a Level 3 Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard. Duties will include segregating waste, reception and admin duties, plus much more.

As part of your training your job role will include:
- Following practice policies and procedure
- Set up and prepare the surgeries for each patient
- Provide chair side support to the dentist/hygienist
- Prepare materials and instruments for the dentist/hygienist to use
- Processing radiographs
- Segregating waste
- Reception and admin duties
- Follow procedures for decontamination and infection control
Level 3 Dental Nurse (integrated) apprenticeship standard, including:
- Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing
- Skills, Knowledge, and Behaviours
- End-Point Assessment
You will be a qualified Dental Nurse at the end of your training. There is opportunity to progress in Dentistry post qualification courses such as:
- Radiography
- Oral Health – Education
- Impression taking
- Therapy
- Management
