Apprenticeship summary
This full-time position is well suited to an individual that is looking to advance in a dental career and gain direct experience in a thriving and supportive workplace. In practice, you will work closely with the dentist, assisting in surgery, as well as having sterilisation, decontamination and clinical duties, as well as possible reception cover.

Advanced
- Chairside assistance including fillings, extractions and cross infection control
- Learn about the anatomy of the jaw and mandiable and tooth anatomy
- Required to learn all about certain medical conditions
Level 3 Dental Nurse (integrated) Apprenticeship Standard, including:
- Level 3 Extended Diploma in Dental Nursing
- Knowledge, Skills, and Behaviours
- End-Point Assessment
- Delivery of training to be confirmed
- After gaining a qualification in Dental Nursing, there are post graduate qualifications to gain in radiography, sedation, oral hygiene instruction
- Many nurses also go on to do a Hygiene/Therapist course
and some even go on to do Dentistry
