The paint shop is the heart of the van manufacturing process, sitting between body assembly and general assembly. As issues arise, the ability to be able to fix dings/bumps and effect paint repairs in an efficient and timely manner is key within the manufacturing process and we are keen to find and train suitable candidates to support us in that role. You will work on the production line and report into the shift supervisor. The role is shift based eventually, once you have completed your apprenticeship.
In-house training plus the candidate will follow a Level 3 Apprenticeship programme and study towards a Level 3 in Vehicle Damage Paint Technician. This training will be structured and delivered by Cheshire College – South & West. If the candidate does not hold GCSE grades A-C (9-4) or equivalent, they will be required to complete a Level 2 Functional Skill in the relevant subject.
Opportunity for the right candidate to join the Stellantis Paint Unit team as a full-time metal and paint repair technician.
