Apprenticeship summary
You will be working with the Training and Events Manager and Co-ordinator to improve the workflow of the Training and Events Team.

- Setting up training rooms to trainer’s requirements and options standards.
- Preparing approved materials for each trainer and ensuring equipment is available and prepared.
- Maintaining and updating training resources and materials.
- Liaising with staff and their line managers about forthcoming training.
- Dealing with incoming queries regarding training or events.
- Researching new training resources and methods that may be appropriate for options.
- Updating internal and external systems and/or databases.
- Monitoring training resources and alerting the Training Manager when items need to be purchased.
- Working with the Team Leaders to monitor attendance at training.
- Collecting and analysing monitoring and evaluation forms.
- Producing training data as required by the Training and Events Manager and/or Co-ordinator.
- Supporting the research and identification of appropriate venues and suppliers for events.
- Contributing to the administration of events, i.e. invitations, attendance and publicity.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders about events.
- Supporting set up and smooth running of events / clear-up and conclusion of events.
- Working with the Communications Lead to create internal and external communications for training and events (including flyers, invitations, posters, social media posts etc.).
- Covering Reception one day per week.
- Covering absences of the Receptionist and Training and Events Administrator such as annual leave, sickness or training.
- Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.
You’ll attend monthly 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your tutor and learn about modules including the organisation, stakeholders, relevant regulation, business fundamentals, processes & external factors. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer.
