Essential: Training will be carried out at our Preston Academy one day per week. GCSEs A-C/functional skills level 2 in English and maths.

Dental Nurse role consists of:
- Assisting dentists
- Decontaminating instruments
- Updating patient records as instructed by the dentist
- Supporting the wider team
- Have the ability to use your own initiative
- Set up and prepare the surgery
- High standards of cleanliness and infection control
- Keeping patient information confidential
- Reassuring patients
- Confidentiality

- Stock control
Follow all workplace policies and procedures - Safeguarding
- Assist with X-rays
- Dental Nurse (integrated) Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard
- Training will take place at our brand new Academy in Preston. It will consist of 4 days of ‘One the Job’ training in practice and one day per week doing theoretical training at the academy
- After qualification, the apprentice could progress to being a Hygeinist, Therapist, Practice Manager or alternatively attend university to study to become a Dentist
