Kids World follow the EYFS for all the planning and Ofsted quoted that they are robust with their children in their care. This is a small private nursery ran by Dawn and has historically offered Apprenticeships to young people and a high number of her staff were trained using the Apprenticeship program.

As an Level 2 Early Year Practitioner Apprentice some duties include:

  • Communicating information
  • Safeguarding children
  • Planning activities
  • Feeding children
  • Telling stories

Nursery open Monday -Friday 8.00am -5.30 pm

Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Kids World Day Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.

You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:

  • Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
  • Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
  • Functional skills in maths and English if required

This will be delivered through Kids World Day Nursery’s dedicated training provider, Realise. Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.

Progression onto a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship on completion of Level 2.


Kids World

We have 3 fabulous rooms with all the resources that will suit allyour child's needs and development. we provide all nappies, jars, and formulas,so spare clothes are all that is needed. We follow the EYFS for all theplanning and Ofsted quoted that we are robust with our children in our care. Weoffer all the care needed for children with additional needs and have two qualifiedS.E.N practitioners who will support you when needed.
