Are you looking for a job to start your childcare career? A fantastic opportunity is available at Kids World for a committed candidate to join as a level 2 apprentice. You will be working in an established nursery supporting children’s development through play, learning and fun activities.

Kids World follow the EYFS for all the planning and Ofsted quoted that they are robust with their children in their care. This is a small private nursery ran by Dawn and has historically offered Apprenticeships to young people and a high number of her
staff were trained using the Apprenticeship program.
As an Level 2 Early Year Practitioner Apprentice some duties include:
- Communicating information
- Safeguarding Children
- Planning activities
- Feeding Children
- Telling stories
Your full role and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Kids World Day Nursery will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard, which includes:
- Knowledge
- Skills and Behaviours
- Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship Standard
- Functional skills in maths and English if required
This will be delivered through Kids World Day Nursery’s dedicated training provider, Realise.
Realise is an established training provider that’s enjoying an exciting period of growth following a management buyout and rebrand in late 2020.
- Progression onto a Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship on completion of Level 2
