The Level 2 Diploma in Professional Hairdressing has been designed by employers for learners wishing to work as a hairdresser. You will be employed within a salon environment and develop skills and knowledge to support your learning journey and build confidence and competence to ensure a quality learning experience.

- Shampooing and conditioning
- Blow drying and styling hair
- Cutting and colouring
- Making refreshments
- Cleaning duties
- 20% off the job training in a hairdressing salon
- Attend college 1 day per week
- Hair Professional Level 2 Diploma
- 1 day a week at Mode Training
- 20% off the job training in a hairdressing salon
- Minimum 30 hours employed in a hairdressing salon
- Functional Skills in maths and English (if required)
- The learner will progress onto level 3 Diploma for Advanced and Creative Hair Professional

After a year of opening, the business won the North West Livewire Business Awards. Seven years later founder, Simon Alexander was doing celebrity hair makeovers on the Afternoon Show on ITV. The salon, Senior Stylists and Simon Alexander continue to win styling competitions both locally and nationally round the UK.
