Abbey Logistics Groupis a leading logistics service provider and one of the UK’s most recognised and respected road tanker transport brands. They are pleased to be able to offer the opporunity of a Heavy Goods Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician role to work within a busy team.

Advanced
Gain hands on experience with an established and highly experienced team of HGV technicians.
Working within the inhouse workshop, you will be working on the following:
- Carrying out inspections, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on tankers/trailers operated by Abbey Logistics Group.
Fabrication work to include:
- Chassis repairs, general accident damage repairs in aluminum & stainless steel and general fabrication duties.
Ensure health and safety and company procedures are adhered to.
- Heavy Vehicle Service & Maintenance Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship.
- Training will require attending college one day per week (during term time) or 6 hours a week at your place of work during non-term times.
Once qualified there is a possibility of moving to a permanent technician role, which is responsible for carrying out inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair procedures on tankers/trailers operated by Abbey Logistics Group.
