Operating and maintaining factory machinery and equipment

·         Assembling products using hand tools and mechanical/automated equipment

·         Inspecting and testing products to ensure that they meet specifications and requirements of each product line

·         Packaging and labelling products for shipment or overseeing packaging machinery

·         Collaborating with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines

·         Following and advocating safety procedures and regulations

Day relase training at MTC Liverpool, working towards a Level 2 Lean manufacturing operative apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required.

On completion, the natural progression for the right candidate would be to enrol onto a level 3-4 in manufacturing and fabrication
