The Supply Chain Apprentices will experience all aspects of an Automotive supply chain team, from managing and working with suppliers, to schedule materials from all over the World into the Plant to ensuring customer orders are built on time.

As a Supply Chain Apprentice, you’ll rotate through five key teams, spending roughly 6-9 months in each to gain full end‑to‑end experience.
- Production Control – You’ll learn how customer orders are sequenced into the manufacturing process and how systems are used to keep production running smoothly
- Transport & Packaging – You’ll support the design and management of cost‑efficient transport plans that move parts to the Plant in the most effective way
- Material Methods – This team manages internal stores, warehouse locations, and all supporting systems. You’ll also get involved in future projects and continuous improvement
- Material Follow – You’ll work directly with the global supplier base, issuing delivery schedules, tracking supply issues, managing part setup, and supporting daily stock control
- Operations – You’ll gain hands‑on experience receiving deliveries, unloading and loading vehicles, and moving parts across the Plant while supporting warehouse operations
You’ll also spend time with other departments around the Plant to broaden your understanding of how the full operation works.
- Supply Chain Leadership Professional (Integrated Degree) Level 6
- You will be required to attend Sheffield Hallam University on 4-day study blocks, 6 times per year
- If successful in gaining a permanent role, there are opportunities for continued professional development and progression into specialist and leadership roles
