Free Training for Headteachers and Trust Leaders: A Safe, Ethical and Strategic Approach to AI in Education – The Big AI Project and Liverpool City Region Combined Authority AI Programme.
Headteachers and Trust Leaders are invited to join The Big AI Project in-person free training across Liverpool City Region.
The Big AI Project has so far supported leaders representing over 1,000 schools nationally, with participants rating the training 9.5/10 for its impact and relevance.
The half-day training is designed to equip participants with teacher-designed, expert-informed free resources and practical guidance to support a strategic approach to AI in Education.
From attending, schools gain access to a network of support and expert guidance, a comprehensive suite of free resources alongside Teacher CPD online sessions designed to support implementation of responsible, ethical and safe approaches to AI.
This is a limited and one-off regional rollout so places need to be secured early to guarantee participation. Places are limited and attendance is free.

All resources are designed by teachers and school leaders across the UK. Professor Rose Luckin CBE (Professor of Learner Centred Design at UCL, Knowledge Lab) has quality assured all content as the Academic Research Partner. Content has been supported by the National Governance Association (NGA), National Institute of Teaching, Skills Builder, and The PSHE Association.
This training is equally suitable for schools who are new to AI and those schools who consider themselves ‘early adopters’.
